Athletics

 

Athletics are a vital part of a student’s experiences at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School.  They teach integrity, discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.  We believe that any eligible student willing to try a sport should have the opportunity to do so.  Therefore, we have a no-cut policy for all sports.  Our teams participate in the Flint Area Catholic School League (FACSL).

In the fall we offer football, spirit squad, cross country and girls’ basketball.  Our winter sports include volleyball and boys basketball.  Softball and Baseball take place in the spring.  Most sports are available to our eligible students in grades 5 through 8.
