The St. John School Educational Foundation was formed in 1982 to assure the continuing existence of St. John School through long-term financial support. The Foundation was revitalized in the mid-1990s by Sr. Patricia Fischer, school principal, and a core group of school parents.

The Foundation is guided by a Board of Trustees that meets monthly during the school year to make decisions that carry out the purpose of the Foundation. The current Board of Trustees includes:

Steve Bliss
Michele Morgan
Tony Delecki
Carmella Murray
Linda Faricy
Ron Rybar
Brenda Wehrli
Liz Bleicher - Administrative Assistant

The Foundation publishes an Alumni Newsletter twice annually to provide ongoing information to school alums and to encourage their continuing support of St. John School. The Foundation raises funds through an annual dinner dance (begun in 2006), a donation envelope collected in June via the Sunday collection, and other donations. Donors for each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) are recognized at the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony held annually in December.

The Foundation provides a percentage of its earnings annually to support the school budget and undertakes projects in areas that will improve educational experiences for St. John School students. The Foundation began a four-phase Technology Initiative in 2006; this far this has resulted in a new server for the school (to support the Edline program) in year one and newer computers with new monitors in year two.
