What year did you begin Teaching?
May of 2006 as a Substitute teacher, mainly at St. John's, but also at the area public schools. I started teaching at St. John's in the Fall of 2007, 2007/2008 school year, so this is my fourth full-time, year St. John's.

Favorite Subjects:
I believe you should never stop learning, and I love learning new ideas each and everyday. Therefore, I have quite a few favorite subjects such as Religion, Math, History, and Science.

Why I am a Teacher:
I have always been interested in being a teacher. I love children and I love learning. I thoroughly enjoy going to school and learning new ideas. I want to be the best teacher I can be. I believe being a teacher is the most important professional career in the world! We have the lives and minds of our students and the success of our future world at at our fingertips. Without teachers and students, where would the future of the world be?

What I like most about teaching at St. John:
I enjoy the faith-filled community atmosphere, St. John school provides. The students, parents, teachers, and staff; are all working together to provide the best education in faith as possible.

How your faith influences teaching:

My faith is ingrained in my very being. I was raised Catholic, attended a Catholic grade school, and have worked in religious education for 15 plus years. I draw from all my religious education and experiences to relate to students and the topics being presented each day in class.
