B.S. in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University, with minors in Science, Social Studies, & Language Arts.
What year did you begin teaching? How long have been teaching at SJE ?
I began teaching in 1994 and my first year at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School was in 1995. I have been here for 13yrs.
Favorite subjects:
My favorite subject is reading because I love teaching about adventures that a story brings.
Why I am a teacher:
I am a teacher because I love what I do. It does not feel like a job to me. I love to make kids wonder and make them question. I like to never stop learning and to have knowledge in my mind & passion in my heart.
What I like most about teaching at SJE:
I love the wonderful staff members who are not only my friends but are a part of my family. We are all like one big family here; the staff, parents, students, pastoral team, and God.
How your faith influences teaching:
Teaching is in the faith I share with Jesus...ever changing and growing and never ending. If I have taught and touched one person in God's name, I have used my gift to me, justly.
