Position: Eighth grade homeroom and Language Arts Teacher (6-8)
Education: BA Major: English, Minor: Theatre, MAC-Masters of Arts in Curriculum, both from UofM Flint.
What year did you begin Teaching? How long have you been teaching at SJE?
I began teaching at DuKette Catholic School in Flint in 2004. This is my second year at St. John.
Favorite Subject:
My favorite subjects are English, theatre, and social studies.
Why I am a teacher:
I find teaching a very rewarding career. Teaching in a Catholic School is a vocation not a profession.
What I like most about at St. John :
I love being able to teach my favorite subject, English. I also love the fact that we were able to start up Drama Club this year.
How your faith influences teaching:
Life is about the choices we make. If i can somehow influence one child to make good choices then I feel my job as a Catholic educator is justified.
