What year did you begin teaching? How long have you been teaching at SJE?
I started teaching in 1990 as a substitute teacher before teaching full time at the Valley school in Flint, for 7yrs.
I have been teaching at SJE since 2001.
Favorite Subjects:
Language Arts, Social Studies & Religion.
Why I am a teacher:
I enjoy working with children and filling them with knowledge to be used for a lifetime in positive ways. It's exciting to watch them grow and learn.
What I like most about teaching at SJE:
Sharing my faith with the students and having the privilege of working with a group of people who are positive, upbeat and have a great sense of humor.
How my faith influences my teaching:
Religion is threaded throughout the curriculum on a daily basis with ample opportunity to pass my faith along during teachable moments, not just at a designated time.
