What year did you begin teaching? How long have been teaching at SJE ?
I began volunteering here at St. John's doing Art Smart 12 years ago. I have been teahing art for seven years.
Favorite subjects:
Art, Art History & Social studies.
Why I am a teacher:
My passion for Art needed to be shared & It was a good fit for our family. I wanted the students at St. John to have art. No art was offered to these students prior.
What I like most about teaching at SJE:
I love being a part of this wonderful staff and the students bring such joy and enthusiasm to class everyday.
How your faith influences teaching:
I ask the Lord to lead me everyday. I thank the Lord for the many gifts we are blessed with here at St. John and I love to incorporate faith into art work. We have drawn Jesus, done collage prayers and 3D sculptures of a bible scene.
